Two Signs of Humility.

Do you want to be like Jesus? Do you want to have the mind of Christ?
If your answer is “Yes” then I have news for you….
 
In Philippians 2:8, Paul says:
And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
 
Jesus “humbled” himself and became “obedient”…
 
Humility is one of the keys that Jesus used to earn the name that is above every other name. To amount to anything in life, you must learn to be humble like Christ.
 
You even need humility to acknowledge that you need Christ to be saved!
 
Two signs that show you are humble are that you are childlike and you are like a servant.
 
Another key that Jesus used is obedience. Jesus was sensitive to the word of God. Even though He did not want to die, He was able to say to God, “Thy will be done…”
 
You must be obedient to what the word of God says. Be sensitive to the word of God even though you feel like doing other things…

 
You must also be obedient to the call of God on your life. Do not follow friends or people who discourage you from obeying your call. It is an individual affair and you will answer to God alone!

Use the keys of humility and obedience to open the doors of greatness, just like Jesus!
